HFC Bank
The HFC Bank was formed in 1973. At that time its parent company was Household International Inc., a large independent provider of consumer finance in the USA. In 1988, the HFC-Bank and the Beneficial Bank merged. This created a much larger organization, increasing the HFC-Bank’s presence in the market as well as improved potential for growth.
In 2003, the HFC-Bank and its parent were acquired by the HSBC Group of companies.
The HFC-Bank has prided itself on pioneering new services and offers. It was one of the first high street banks in the UK to open its branches on Saturdays.
HFC Bank Loans
The HFC-Bank specialises in arranging loans and insurance. It wholly owns two companies that provide secured loan to consumers: Endeavour Personal Finance and Sterling Credit. HFC-Bank also offers personal banking services through its Beneficial brand.
